Sharing knowledge with children and watching them grow is my passion and it fuels me to be a better teacher daily! TGAA has provided me with some amazing resources and the training which makes it easier to improve year on year. This is my third year teaching at TGAA and I hope to be able to hang my hat here for many years to come. I consider myself blessed to work with an organisation that allows me to be as creative as I want with my lesson plans. Further, I feel very fortunate to work with a school this supportive of all their teachers. I am surrounded by teachers who are both committed and dedicated to their students and who care about each child’s individual success. I’m one of those few people in life who gets to wake up every morning and say that they honestly love their job. My students are my motivation and my drive to succeed as their teacher. I’m at a point in my life where I don’t need this job, I want this job.

I enjoy the freshness here. The reason behind this is that there has never been a boring moment because someone or the other is trying out something new (based on some research work) in this organization. One never has to continuously keep on doing the same thing day in and day out, week after week, month after month and year after year. In fact, I feel so lucky to have even witnessed the building in its different forms... in the last 8+ years. If one has a progressive mind, then one should definitely try to be a part of the TGAA family and feel the warmth of the students as well as all the other team members here. There is a tremendous amount to learn from every member here. The evergreen spirit of trying to better the teaching learning process driven by a dedicated research team is definitely a unique point in this organisation.

When I first joined TGAA, the warm, respectful work culture was what impressed me the most. My colleagues and mentors are always ready to lend an ear, and a hand when needed, and our work environment is charged with positive energy. The organization follows a lot of best practices that are very employee friendly and fair. After joining TGAA, I have seen a measurable and visible improvement in my teaching skills and techniques, and under the able guidance of my seniors, I have also become technologically proficient. This has added tremendously to my confidence in other aspects of my life too. TGAA constantly motivates you to outdo your best, and I think that is my favourite aspect about being a teacher at TGAA. At the end of the day, I know I will be better than I was yesterday.

I appreciate TGAA for allowing me to hone my skills as a teacher. I can say that TGAA shaped me into a fine teacher. I love the patience, respect, and trust given to me by this organization. Teachers help each other no matter what the situation is. collaboration is on a whole different level. I truly appreciate the Staff Support meeting I went through at the end of each month during the lockdown period. The most important and specific thing I love is they respected my feelings and made me understand that it's ok to make mistakes as long as we work hard, collaborate, and do a self-reflection and improve.

My journey at TGAA has been super exciting, challenging and an amazing learning experience. I started with my internship at TGAA and immediately got a job as a teacher. One thing I like the most in TGAA is, it is a research-based school who believes in innovation. For example, in the first year itself, we had a pilot study in our class; wherein I gained a lot of insight and expertise into teaching. Meetings with the research team and professionals helped me polish my teaching skills. Also, professional development programs at TGAA has made me confident, helped me develop professionally and have a growth mindset.
